Bonsai Design, LLC is a design-build construction company based in Portland, Oregon. My client wanted a logo that was inspired by art deco buildings you can find in the city, specifically the Charles F. Berg Building. The shape language was also inspired by the Golden Ratio, sea shells, drafting, clean lines and logarithmic spirals (Fibonacci Sequence). Along with the logo and shape language, I also created a brand design brief for his team to use.
